Dragonball Z Supersonic Warriors 2 is the best (in my opinion) portable DBZ game on the market today and I have played alot of them. To name a few (GBA) Legacy of Goku, (GBA) Dragonball GT Transformations, (GBA) Dragonball Advanced Adventure, and (PSP) Shin Budokai just to let you know I have some experience. Now also take into consideration that all the above games are good as well and Shin Budokai being on the PSP does have better graphics but it is basically just Budokai 3 with a few extra character's where Supersonic Warriors 2 is it's own game and features many "what if battles" and a few support characters that havent been in any DBZ game yet to date such as Babidi, Dende and a few others. The amount of characters is good but its not giant...the meat of the game to me are the team attacks that you can do once you get up to a ceratin ki amount, in some cases this involves 2 characters doing a team attack or if you pick the right 3 characters they will do a triple team attack which is truly awesome. Also the game offers multiplayer via the Nintendo DS as long as both you and your buddy have a game cartridge which I have tried numerous times and it works flawlessly. There are several game modes, most of which are unlocked at the beginning except for one which is called Maximum mode and there are different paths to take in the story mode depending on what you do during a certain fight for example if your playing goku you might come to a spot where you can progress forward up and down....yet when you beat the fight it only may let you go forward, this is because you have to perform a certain action or attack and it may unlock alternate routes for you to take which makes you think a little. In conclusion Dragonball Z Supersonic Warriors 2 is a great DBZ game and a good fighting game in its own right. Also the price that you can find it for in the stores or even here on ebay is usually very reasonable. I highly reccomend it!Read full review
The game is fun the fighting is smooth and there's good amount of characters overall not a bad game, the only downside is that it doesn't work on DSi which is a big letdown because I carry my DSi everywhere. I don't like carrying my original DS just to play this one game that's really my only concern it does work on the DS Lite though.
I brought Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2 for my son. he loves Dragon Ball Z and it was the perfect game for his Nintendo DS. He plays in in his spare time and he loves it. I would recommend for anyone who loves Dragon Ball Z to get one for themselves or their children who does, providing you don't already have one
The game is fast addicting and exciting. The levels are challenging. However graphics have not improved much since the titles move to Nintendo DS from Nintendo SP.
Pretty crappy. Has a lot of repetitiveness. game design not so good. control kinda boring. Just a boring game. Lets demand a super smash bros. ds! it would be perfect for this system! dual screen beat em up. One of the best of all times. And will be amazing classic on the ds! Let's demand it! we will all be glad we did. including Nintendo.
